Charter Day 78th Awards Ceremony and Celebration
The Board of Trustees and Staff of Historic Charleston Foundation invite you to join us for the 78th annual Charter Day Awards Ceremony and Celebration on Thursday, May 1st! Please join us in honoring those whose work and vision have impacted the preservation of Charleston’s historical, architectural, and cultural legacy.
Each year, Historic Charleston Foundation (HCF) honors extraordinary contributions in preserving Charleston’s irreplaceable historic built environment and cultural character with its Charter Day Awards. Awards include the Stoney Craftsmanship Award, the Whitelaw Founder's Award, the Joseph H. (Peter) Advocacy McGee Award and The Frances R. Edmunds for Historic Preservation.
The 78th Charter Day Awards Ceremony will begin promptly at 6 pm, with a reception to immediately follow at the Nathaniel Russell House, beginning approximately 7:15 pm. This event is open to the public, however space is limited and we encourage registration.
