41 Archdale. There’s no history of this building in HCF’s Archives. What is known is that the building once served as the "Old Fire Engine House" and the Powers Carpet Cleaning Company. It was demolished ca. 1951 for the construction of a parking lot. (News & Courier articles; This is Charleston; Old Codgers' Charleston Address Book).
